For the first time, the Feast of Tabernacle in Nairobi will be held at the Rowallan Camp. A 36 hectares campsite is a private property owned by the Kenya Scout Association. This facility offers a serene setting for nature lovers who wish to sleep under the star’s light on the outskirt of the green city (Nairobi).
Facilities provided at Rowallan Camp include water, hot shower, nature trails, firewood for campfire, a swimming pool, and a cafeteria for those who do not wish to cook. An interesting activity in the neighborhood is a short hike to some caves located in Ngong Road Forest Reserve. These caves have a very small entrance that requires you to crawl flat on your stomach to enter, and once inside, move around on your hands and knees due to the low roof. It is quite an interesting experience.
The swimming pool is open to the public and has become a favorite with residents from the neighboring suburbs. It is open every day of the week.
