The Feast of Tabernacles 2021 in Vanuatu will be held at Village on the island of . It is the second-largest island in the nation of Vanuatu and is mountainous, rugged, and forest-covered, with good walking and bird watching. The three official languages are English, French, and Bislama, the lingua franca spoken throughout the archipelago. Currency used is vatu (1 vatu = 0.0093 US Dollar approx.). The pace of life is relaxed, and the locals are friendly. For a more relaxed Feast site with few distractions and little to no signs of commercialization, Village is the place to go!
Approximately 100 local brethren will gather to observe the Feast within the meeting hall used by the local brethren for services and Holy Days throughout the year. Most of the brethren will be staying on site of the property, many of which will literally be staying in “temporary booths.” We can offer international guests with accommodation in the huts that are available. Feast activities will include a Talent Show, bonfire, jungle walk, and several other similar events. Many fruits naturally grow in the jungle surrounding the village such as coconuts, bananas, mangos, and pawpaw just to name a few!
There are no hotels in the area, so be prepared to enjoy village life on site if planning to attend from international areas. For further details and to answer any questions, please contact the Festival Coordinator, Mr. Paul Kearns.
This site is not open for transfers.
